Author Guidelines

Thank you for choosing Ar-Risalah: Journal of Islamic Education as the venue for your scholarly work. To ensure a smooth review and publication process, please follow the guidelines below:

  1. Manuscript Types

Accepted manuscripts include original research articles, conceptual studies, or reviews related to the field of Islamic education. Manuscripts must be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.

  1. Language

Manuscripts should be written in either English or Indonesian, using clear and correct language.

  1. Manuscript Length

Articles should be between 5,000 and 7,000 words, including the abstract, references, and any appendices.

  1. Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  2. Line Spacing: 1.5
  3. Margins: 3 cm on all sides
  4. Paragraph: Left aligned, no first-line indentation
  5. Page Numbers: Required

  3. Abstract (150–250 words) and 3–5 keywords

Use the latest edition of the Chicago (Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (ful note)). All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list and vice versa.

  1. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts should be submitted online via the journal’s submission system or contact the editorial office for further information.

  1. Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two expert reviewers. The review process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks.

  1. Publication Ethics

Authors must adhere to the journal’s publication ethics, including avoiding plagiarism, disclosing conflicts of interest, and ensuring the originality of the work.
